Mr. Noland Eastin
Physical Education Instructor and Football Coach
Roosevelt High School
Johnstown, CO 80534

Dear Mr. Eastin,
As we have discussed many of times before I plan to go to college and continue to get a better education. I would appreciate it greatly if you would write a recommendation letter for me so that I could receive the scholarships that I plan to apply for. Because I have taken three of your courses in my high school career here at Roosevelt, you know the kind of work ethic I obtain, as well as my qualities as a person, and my potential to excel after high school.
As my instructor for Physical Education and Lifetime Sports classes, you are aware of my grades, my work behavior, and my study habits. Also by being my football coach you are aware of my will and determination to achieve my goals. I am confident that you have a good sense to know if I can succeed at the college level. I am asking for your recommendation because I will be applying for multiple scholarships here in the near future. I have recently been accepted to Colorado State University Pueblo, Adams State College, and the University of Northern Colorado.
Thank you for your help, I really appreciate you taking the time to write this letter for me.
Yours sincerely,

Sam Hardy

“If you were granted a superpower for just one day, what would it be and how would you use it? (250 words or less)

If I were granted a superpower for just one day I would choose the ability to be able to fly. I would choose this power for the simple fact that I want to see the world. There are so many different kinds of activities that people wish to do in another country but the expenses of these types of trips are very high today. The ability to fly wherever I wanted would give me a lifetime of memories made in just one day. I would start by visiting as many natural disaster victims across the world as I could and help those victims to the best of my abilities. I would then visit all the natural wonders of the world that not many people get to see in their lifetime such as Niagara Falls. The experience of seeing these amazing places is a dream of mine that would be incredible if I could accomplish this in my lifetime.  Using the power of flying, I could help as many people as I could across the world as well as get the experience of a lifetime seeing the extravagant wonders of the world.
